Too precious....

One minute Owen was drinking his bottle, and the next he was sleeping. It was so precious!

UTA Mavericks!!!

Shane and I are both UTA graduates. Papa and Elsa got us some tickets to go see the girl's basketball team. Aidan was loving the basketball game, but you should have seen him when the cheerleaders came out. His eyes were glued, just like his daddy and papa. At halftime, we decided to go see the mascot. Aidan was so excited, until we got close. He was backing away as fast as he could. After a lot of talk he decided to take a picture, but only if mommy and daddy would too. The mascot was really nice, and I guess that helped Aidan decide to get a picture with him alone. That is big time because Aidan is still scared of Chuck E. Cheese. After the game we went out to eat and walked around Lincoln Square. Daddy and Aidan tried on some goofy hats in Stein Mart. It was getting late, so we decided to call it a night.

Papa and his boys.....

Papa loves his boys! Growing up Papa always liked to tickle me until I would beg him to stop. As you can see, he is now doing it with his grandsons. Owen would laugh so hard he could hardly catch his breath. I love to see Papa playing with the boys.

Mohawk boy....

Dini came over one night while we were feeding Owen and decided to "fix" his hair. When we came back into the kitchen this is what we saw.....

Our little climber....

Owen loves to climb. It does not matter what it is, he will try to get on top of it. It is so cute! That little leg just lifting up in hope of finding something to grip onto.

Sneaky boy....

There is something about this dog door that attract young children. When Aidan was little he would climb out of it anytime we were in the playroom. Now, Owen does the exact same thing. When we go to play in the playroom he immediately goes to the door. It was not such a big deal with Aidan, but Owen is a little bit more of a dare devil.

Brockett's Not So New New Year's Party

During the day, we had a family party. All the faculty and their children were invited to come and hang out. The children had many different things they could do. Face painting, playing Wii, arts and crafts, horseshoes, and a bounce house are a few of the things our kids could do. In the evening, we had an adult only party. =) We had to dress in our favorite decade. I had a hippie costume from Halloween a few years ago, so I went as a hippie chick. Shane just got some clothes out of his closet and dressed like the 80's. He even tight-rolled his pants! =)
