Since about a week after Christmas, Owen has been waking up in the middle of the night. he has always been our sleeper. we just put him in his crib about 8:00, and he goes right to sleep. not anymore! he is now getting up, turning off his humidifier (so we can't hear him open the door), and opening his door. we have caught him walking down the hall looking for us. Shane and i decided that we would just go in his room, put him in bed, then come back to our room. we never talked to him. after a very long night, Shane decided that we were going to turn his doorknob around, so he could not open his door. essentially, we lock him in his room. so, when Owen got up the next night, he could not get out of the room. he started screaming, kicking, and knocking on the door. This lasted about 2-3 hours. then it was quiet, but soon started again. we went through about a week of this, but now he sleeps either on the floor in his sleeping bag, or in his bed. His choice, but he is in his room.....
