GIVE Fundraiser....

A few years ago, my dad went to Ghana, Africa on a sea turtle adventure. While he was there he got really close to Mama and Papa Agatha. They are headmasters at the Natilla School. Papa decided he would help improve the school. He has added bathrooms, electricity, classrooms, and given computers. The fundraiser was to raise money to create classrooms for a Kindergarten and Pre-Kindergarten classrooms. He is planning on going back to Ghana in a few months. He will stay for a month or so. The event was a great success! Thanks to the band who played and all the people who made donations for the silent auction.

Hi Queen of my Castle. I am katie from over at Just So Scrappy. You left me a not in the comments on my blog and I just wanted to let you know that if you download any of my freebie quick pages or of tag book pages they are all put together so all you have to do is drag and drop your pictures under the blank spot and resize to fit or crop to fit it so they are all finished for you. Easy stuff. If you know how to drag and drop you can definately do this. Thank you for your nice compliments on my work. I am coming out with a tag book to match my Fright Night kit in a couple of days so keep an eye out. Have a great weekend.

Hi there. Me again, Katie from Just so scrappy. You can email me anytime. I am always checking my emails at katie@rememberwhencustomscrapbookingbykatie.com I have the link on the right hand side of my blog if you need it in my profile. I would not call you scrapbooks stupid. You have to learn by trial and error. I had no idea when I started in March about upload, download, links, zipped files, it was all chinese to me. I actually started all this by trying to start a Scrap 4 hire business. I was hearing from people here and there that they love the idea of scrapbooking but just don't have the time or that they are creatively challenged and that they would pay to have the work done for them so I thought that I would set up a website to scrapbook for people who really don't have the time to do it and would like to have it done for them whether it be for gifts of for themselves. I also have an option to make the pages for people complete with thier pictures and put them on cd for them to have developed anywhere they like in any size that they want just in case they don't want necessarily a complete album at the moment or if they want to make multiple albums for family or friends. I love love love to scrapbook. I have been doing it traditionally forever and just this year was introduced to the digital world. My site is at www.rememberwhencustomscrapbooksbykatie.com and I have a gallery thier that I tell people to check out for some inspiration on page ideas, plus it lets me show off my pages. I post freebies at the bottom of each post everyday. All you have to do is click on the link and it takes you to media-fire to download a zipped folder. It has to be zipped I guess because of the way that the folders are stored and makes them able to upload and download. I don't know at the technical interworkings but I do know that they have to be zipped to give them to someone. After you get that all you have to do is unzip it by extracting the contents and place your picture into the space given for pictures, journal where you want and print it out or have it developed. Now that I have left you a novel email me and let me know if you need anything or if I can help you with anything.
